Philip & Susan Ryott  - Newcastle Wedding Photographers

I have been involved in photography from an early age, and this has given me time to generate a wealth of knowledge and experience. This experience is what my clients rely on when they commission me to record those special moments in their lives.

You can trust that they are never disappointed, as we bring this experience to every event we attend. No second chances needed, and we don’t rely on the odd lucky shot. As professionals, we provide a consistent high level of performance at weddings and many other situations that we are hired to work at.

With 9 years experience shooting wedding in all of the top North East venues, I still have the passion that first sent me on my  journey to become one of the top Newcastle Wedding Photographers.

At the start of 2006, our studio Philip Ryott Photography was opened at The Biscuit Factory, within walking distance from the centre of Newcastle. The studio has been a very successful for us, offering a comfortable environment to meet and photography clients.

Our focus is on customer satisfaction, and we take great pride when we see the reactions to our photography. This makes all our efforts worthwhile.

I am a qualified member of MPA, The Master Photographers Association, being a Licentiate member for 7 years.

Becoming a member of this important organisation, brings resposability.

The qualification process is tough, to maintain business stands and client protection.

1. Passing photographic technique and skills criteria, with 20 prints of a high standard in 2 genres.
2. Confirming insurance policies, with correct cover  in place.
3. Ensuring full knowledge of their strict codes of practice, which ensures our business credibility and our client’s trust.

With this membership I was able to enter the annual awards competitions, (which is only entered by full time professional photographers). In my first year of entering, I was successful in winning “North East Licentiate Wedding Photographer of the Year” back in 2007.

These awards are a great achievement for me, and is validation to my creative technique and passion for my job, which all our clients benefit from.

We work as a team during wedding days, with myself taking the important must have shots, while Susan has perfected a skill in finding the most powerful candids during the day.
